While I’m a great advocate of LinkedIn and the other online communities, I am also a massive fan of face to face meetings and the ability to ask questions and talk through an issue you have. From a training perspective, this really shows itself in the fact that people flock to onsite training sessions rather than simply check out online help forums or watch webinars with no opportunity to delve more deeply!
In an effort to help, at some of the exhibitions that I will be attending over the coming months, I am dedicating the stands to offering as much support as I can to users of LinkedIn coming along to the shows. If you have questions about LinkedIn, what it can do and how you might use it in your business activities, then come and ask.
For this reason, I will be running a LinkedIn Surgery at each of the upcoming 3 Exhibitions shows I am attending or speaking at – a chance for you to get your LinkedIn questions answered! No need to book a time, just come along and I’ll answer as many as possible during the course of the day.
While I can’t answer direct technical errors you’re getting or sort out payment issues (given I’m not employed by LinkedIn) I’m afraid, I can advise you as to how to best get hold of LinkedIn and I should be able to help with more or less anything else.
In addition, I will be taking a number of the questions that I get at each of the Shows and recording a video response to it which I will then make available on YouTube – essentially, the ideal opportunity for you to have ongoing access to the information you need.
So, where is all this happening?
I’m going to be running LinkedIn Surgeries at the following Shows coming up:
Date: Friday 22nd May
Greater Manchester Biz Expo
Date: Tuesday 9th June
Thames Valley Expo
Date: Thursday 25th June
So, do sign up and come along to each of the Shows – it’s free access to all of them and there will be lots going on, speed networking to enjoy and hopefully your LinkedIn questions answered for you as well!
If you wish to drop me a line ahead of time then even better – come and have a chat about it and take the opportunity to mingle with local business people … you never know what might come of it!
What more could you ask for?
